NZ Asian Lawyers and the New Zealand Law Society have partnered to host the inaugural NZ Asian Lawyers Awards, which will be presented by the Attorney General, the Hon Judith Collins KC, who will also speak at the event. Sir Anand Satyanand, who leads the judging panel, will speak about the judging process.
Russell McVeagh is kindly sponsoring the venue and the event will be held at the Vero Centre, Level 30, 48 Shortland St, Auckland, on 1 November from 5-8pm.
The 2024 New Zealand Asian Lawyer of the Year Award is sponsored by Tompkins Wake, and the 2024 Young New Zealand Asian Lawyer of the Year Award is sponsored by Heritage Law.
This event is FREE for members of NZ Asian Lawyers and members of the New Zealand Law Society. There is a charge of $25 if you are not a member of NZ Asian Lawyers or the New Zealand Law Society.
Online attendance is available for those not able to attend in person and a streaming link will be provided closer to the event date..
Photography
We may have a Law Society photographer present at this event. A selection of photographs may be made available for attendees to view and some photographs may be used in Law Society publications such as Law Points, LawTalk and Auckland Branch News and in NZ Asian Lawyers electronic or print publications and social media. The photos may also be provided to speakers, Award recipients and sponsors for their use.
