Nicole has a LLB/BA from the University of Auckland, majoring in Chinese. She was also the Vice President of the Korean Students Association while she was studying, and has been the President of the Society of Korean Lawyers of New Zealand (SKLNZ) from 2010-2012. She was admitted to the Bar in both New Zealand and New South Wales.
She is currently the Secretary and Committee Member of the National Unification Advisory Council – Auckland branch.
