On 20 June, the Wellington NZ Asian Lawyers Young Lawyers Committee hosted a dynamic speed networking event at Flamingo Joes, attended by 22 legal professionals and students. The evening facilitated lively discussions and connections among attendees. They had timed rounds of quick, focussed conversations on legal and industry trends in their practice areas, career development aspirations and pathways, and professional experiences. Attendees also shared their study tips and experiences with clerkship recruitment.
Overall, the event was a success, enabling participants to forge new connections and strengthen existing ones. This is all thanks to our friends at the College of Law who sponsored the event.
